Child Safety Standards

Effective October 7, 2026

These standards apply to the BizMeet app and to https://bizmeetapp.org. Both are run by BizMeet LLC, a Wisconsin limited liability company ("BizMeet", "we", "us"). BizMeet is a professional networking app for adults.

1. Our standards

BizMeet has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). This covers content, conduct and contact, on or off the app, whenever it involves a BizMeet member or account.

BizMeet is only for adults aged 18 or older. When you sign up, you confirm that you are 18 or older. During profile setup, the app asks for your birthday and stops anyone under 18 from finishing. Our servers also reject any birth date less than 18 years ago. We do not check ID documents or scan content automatically, so we rely on members to report anyone who appears to be under 18.

These standards add to our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. If anything here is stricter, this page applies.

2. What is prohibited

You may not use BizMeet to create, share, request or take part in any of the following:

Accounts belonging to anyone under 18 are also prohibited. A minor may not create or use a BizMeet account, and no one may run an account for a minor or share an account with one. If you realize that a member you are talking with is under 18, stop the conversation and report them.

Separately, our Community Guidelines don't allow photos of anyone under 18, including your own children. We remove those photos under the Community Guidelines. A photo falls under these standards only if it sexualizes or exploits a child.

3. How to report

In the app. Open the member's profile or your chat with them, tap More (⋮), then tap Report. Choose Underage user if you think the member is under 18. Choose Inappropriate content for anything that sexualizes or exploits a child. After you report, you can also block the member. The member is not told who reported them. A report saves a private copy of up to your 100 most recent messages with that member so we can review them. We normally keep these copies for up to 180 days. The report does not include photos, and you cannot add a written description in the app. If you want to tell us more, also write to us by email. If you cannot open the member's profile, for example a blurred request, email us instead.

By email. Write to safety@bizmeetapp.org. Tell us the member's first name and city, where in the app you saw the problem (profile, request or chat) and when. Please do not screenshot, download, save or send us copies of images that may show a child being abused or sexualized. Keeping or sharing them can be illegal even when you mean to report them. Describe what you saw and where (profile photo, message, date and time) instead.

Directly to NCMEC. Anyone can report suspected child sexual exploitation to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) through its CyberTipline at https://report.cybertip.org or by calling 1-800-843-5678. You do not need to report to us first.

If you are outside the United States, you can also report to your national hotline through https://www.inhope.org. If a nude or sexual image of you was taken before you turned 18, NCMEC's Take It Down service at https://takeitdown.ncmec.org can help get it removed.

If a child is in immediate danger, call 911 or your local police right away.

4. What we do

We review reports and aim to act promptly. We treat reports about children as our highest priority. When we find a violation of these standards, we:

If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we close it and delete its data, except for anything we must keep to report or investigate abuse. Parents and guardians can report a child's account by writing to safety@bizmeetapp.org.

If we closed your account because we believed you were under 18 and you are 18 or older, you can appeal by emailing safety@bizmeetapp.org within 6 months of our decision. A deleted account can't be restored, but if we agree we made a mistake, you may create a new account.

We do not tell the account holder before we report to NCMEC or share information with law enforcement in child-exploitation cases.

How we handle personal information in reports is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Child safety point of contact

Our designated contact for child safety questions and for coordination with Google Play, NCMEC and law enforcement is:

Role. Child Safety Contact, BizMeet LLC

Email. safety@bizmeetapp.org

This contact can answer questions about these standards and about how we prevent and respond to child sexual abuse and exploitation.

6. Compliance

BizMeet follows applicable child safety laws, including the United States law that requires online services to report child sexual exploitation to NCMEC. We review these standards when the law or our app changes.
